Hi I’m Claire and I run Dorset Scents. Dorset Scents began during lockdown, towards the end of 2020. I’d previously spent most of my working life in Travel (which I adored) and then went on to have my son.

I returned back to working in Travel shortly after having my son and done so for a few years. Then the dreaded Covid hit and I was furloughed for months. Not one to sit still for long, it was during this time of being home that I had time to reflect and with my son about to start school, I realised I needed a job and a new passion that I could work around my family life and to make sure I was available for my son.

After months of trialing ideas, late night discussions, practice runs and brainstorming, Dorset Scents went from a dream to a reality! 

I’m proud to say that Dorset Scents is still going strong today. Lots of new products have launched since it began and more to follow. My products are made using natural soy wax and a lot of time and research is spent into sourcing products that are kind to animals and the environment, including our packaging.

You’ll also find that a lot of my products have a connection to Dorset and this was part of the vision from the start. I love living in Dorset and feel truly lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the UK.
