I’m so excited to share our gorgeous Christmas Tipple Candle. This stunning silver candle has Christmas trees etched into the glass making the most beautiful glow! It’s filled with 350g of natural soy wax, which is our biggest candle. It comes in our stunning Christmas Tipple scent which is a beautiful Christmas concoction similar in scent to mulled wine with a mix of orange, cinnamon, apple, cloves and spices.

There are a few important tips to remember when burning a candle and this will ensure that it will burn evenly and last for as long as possible:

– When first lighting your candle please make sure you let it burn for 2-3 hours or for long enough to allow it to melt to create a full wax pool. The first burn is very important however equally if you let it create a full wax pool every time you light it, it will ensure the candle doesn’t start to tunnel which can shorten the life of your candle considerably.

– Wick maintenance is really important for the perfect even burn. Trim the wick to 5 or 6 mm before lighting every time. A big wick creates a big flame meaning your candle will burner quicker.

-Don’t allow your candle to burn any longer than 3.5-4 hours. Once the melt pool has been created blow it out. Burning a candle for a longer period will cause the container to over heat and make the candle melt quicker.

There’s so much science behind candle making and burning for example the temperate of your room will affect how it burns etc however if you follow the 3 steps above it’ll certainly help get the most out of your beautiful candle. As always please be careful where you place your candle and make sure it’s away from children, pets and drafts.
